What makes your cigar box purses stand out from the others?
First, I start with an authentic wooden cigar box. Since these are
actual cigar boxes, there are often slight imperfections which add to the
character of the purse. Then I evaluate the hardware on the cigar box to make sure that it will be able to handle its life as a purse. I replace defective latches and hinges are replaced as needed. I carefully sand the cigar box and add three coats of varnish to increase the beauty and
durability of the wood. If the cigar box has a label on the inside of the lid, it is also sealed. Also, brass feet are added to help protect the
hinges from wear. After the collage process, three coats of varnish are
put over the art to protect it and give it a richness of depth. After the
embellishments are added, the handles are carefully crafted to enhance the beauty of the cigar box purse. These time-intensive processes insure that
you will be able to enjoy your purse over and over again!

requirements for your cigar box purse and I can give you a price quote. If
you have pictures that you would like to put on the the cigar box purse, I may
need to scan the photo if you do not have it in digital format. For photos
that are already in digital format, they need to be a very large size in order
to maintain good quality when I print them out to use on your purse. Also,
if there is a design in the "Past Designs" that you are in love with,
I can also give you a price quote to create a similar design. Since every
